Sara Roos is a biostatistician and politically engaged parent, whose experience shepherding kids through their own education sensitized her to the microcosm of politics that is Education.
For over a dozen years she has written about education and Party politics through a data-analytics lens, following money and empiricism to try to wrest sense of the huge systems that govern us.

Tiffany Sickler, Treasurer
Tiffany Sickler is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Executive Director of Koinonia Family Services, a private nonprofit foster family, adoption and mental health services agency, operating throughout California and Nevada.
She also serves on the board of the California Alliance of Child and Family Services.
Tiffany brings her lived experience of having been a youth who grew up in residential care as well as her experience as a foster parent of 15 years/15 children and adoptive parent to two (then teen) sisters.

Prior to working in schools, Ahmanise established the foundation of her career in the LA County Jail system’s mental health department at Twin Towers Correctional Facility. Ahmanise is a Counselor in LAUSD serving students affected by homelessness, foster care, and the juvenile justice system. Prior to working in schools, Ahmanise established the foundation of her career in the LA County Jail system’s mental health department at Twin Towers Correctional Facility. Ahmanise also founded and continues to lead the movement to establish a library system in the jails, in an effort to ensure all incarcerated people in LA County Jail system have reliable access to books. Ahmanise is currently a CADEM E-Board Delegate (AD 61), the NASW-CA Region H Director, and co-founder of Westside Activists, a community organization rooted in social justice in the west LA region, where she lives with her husband and two children.
